Rachel Sondag’s theater credits include Steppenwolf Theater’s Gary, as well as the American premieres of Nick Dear’s Power, Polly Teale’s Bronte, and the world premiere of Ellen Fairey’s Girl 20. She also appeared in The Pasadena Playhouse’s The Little Foxes. Her film and television credits include Arc of a Bird (Official Selection at Cannes), According to Jim, The Defenders, Grey’s Anatomy, Touch, Maron, Blunt Talk, and Filthy Preppy Teen$. Her short Be Good for Rachel premiered at the 54th Annual New York Film Festival and is now available on JASH. Rick Gifford
Rick grew up New Jersey, and enjoyed Boston during his undergraduate years at Emerson College, but it was New York City that taught Rick Gifford the Art of performance. He graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in Acting, training under Andrei Serban and Robert Woodruff, Kristin Linklater, and Anne Bogart. Worked off-Broadway at the Beckett Theatre, the Mint Theatre and several regional productions. After several Guest Stars on all the Law & Order’s and the iconic Sopranos, Rick headed to Cally. In Los Angeles, Gifford hit the big screen with a role in Adam Sandler’s “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan”, and national TV appearances in Criminal Minds, How To Get Away With Murder, Grey’s Anatomy, Marvel’s Agents of Shield, Medium, Numb3rs, Big Time Rush, Prime Suspect, amongst others. As a true patron of the arts Rick stuck with theatre and was a member of Tim Robbin’s The Actor’s Gang and studied acting with Jeffrey Tambor. Amelia and Rebecca are 3 years old and have grown up in the San Fernando Valley. They are identical twins and are inseparable.
In their short acting career they have worked on several TV shows such as Mike and Molly, Pretty Little Liars, and Ray Donavan. They also filmed commercials for Microsoft & Target. They are most noted for their appearance in The feature film Mr. Church starring Eddie Murphy and Britt Robertson.
Amelia and Rebecca are fun, smart and sassy toddlers that love being on set and filming. While on set for Heimlich, they had their first opportunity to take directions and act along side some amazing actors. They along with their parents, are excited for their futures and are looking forward to seeing the final cut of Heimlich.
